Miles - 08/12/2021

Miles ate blueberry bagel and ate three servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate hamburger & sausage pizza with the meats, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce. He ate a couple of bites of whole wheat pizza crust (we serve on the side) and ate three servings of pineapple on the side too. 

First picture: The boys were playing with the food toys and I thought it was cute when they were both drinking some orange juice! :) 

Pictures of Miles and Cal playing around and on the mattress this morning. Callahan was standing beside the chair and said, "I want to get down and play!" Haha. He was already "down" so I say, "Sounds good, start playing." Ha. So he got on the floor and started crawling around and Miles joined him. Later, they were back at the same area jumping, laughing, and being silly.

Next picture: Miles was listening to Alexa play "Wheels on the Bus" and he got totally mesmerized with it and was staring. Ha. Last picture: The woman from the Food Program was here (with her assistant) checking on everything - paperwork, temperatures in freezer and refrigerator, more paperwork, and making sure I'm following their regulations. She wore a mask and I had to wear a mask as well. So I gave one to each of the kids. Miles was yelling to her to show off his mask. :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
