Miles - 08/13/2021

Miles ate oatmeal and ate dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate a couple bites of tilapia, ate whole wheat elbow noodles, ate green beans, and applesauce. 

This hit my funny bone and I hope no one is offended!! Our 2 Granddaughters are here and guess what the 11 year old asked me!! She saw Miles and said, "Does he still scream!?!" Haha. I said, "Why do you ask that!?" She said, "Because that's what he did the last time we saw him!!" However, she - Story - was totally enthralled with Miles and played with him the most while Eden played with Atley and Nora.

First picture: Miles was just laying on the cozy corner rug playing with the stuffed bird. He saw me peeking around the corner to take a picture. :) Second picture: And he was still dinking around in the corner when Story came upstairs. She plopped down beside him and there were instant buddies. :)

Next picture: There's a super cute story behind this picture!! This is my Daughter-In-Law Nazgul. (We all call her Naz,) She came into the Daycare Room and was talking to Eden and said, "Will you come give me a hug?" Miles thought she was talking to him and he got right up and went over and gave a hug! It was absolutely adorable. And Naz loved it!! Last picture: Miles heard me telling Story about how I comb his hair and he immediately started pointing up at the spray bottle and comb and making frantic noises. Haha. We also went outside and played this morning.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
