Miles - 08/17/2021

Miles ate most of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate some pork roast, no whole wheat toast, bites of beets, and ate applesauce.

I asked Miles; "Did you see Grandpa and Grandma?" Affirmative head nod and "uh huh!" "Did you see your cousin?" Affirmative head nod and "uh huh!" "What's your cousin's name?" Miles said, "Nor Nor." Haha. So I asked him a second time; "What's your cousin's name?" Miles said, "Me." :)

Svea asked Alexa for "Animal Workout" and Cal was playing along with her for a little bit. Miles started dinking around beside them, but wasn't in tune with the workout! (Actually nobody was!) Haha. Svea gets real dramatic and gesturing with her hands for extra emphasis and speaking with authority. Haha. "You guys are just too little for this." Haha. 

Here are some pictures from the morning: Eden fetching some stuffed animals that she assumes Miles needs. :) Second picture: Cal and Miles after a spider - they said they saw one - I never saw it. They ended up jostling for territory that the imaginary (maybe) spider had just vacated. Haha.

Next picture; That's a good find Miles; that's what happens when Eden leaves her brush laying around. Now you get to play with it!! :) Story hung out with Miles and Cal building legos with them. Initially she was building with the legos and they joined her which is actually an excellent way to engage kids.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
