Miles - 09/10/2021

Miles ate most of oatmeal and ate dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of scrambled eggs, half of his whole wheat toast, ate green beans, and ate applesauce. I was in the kitchen putting food on the plates and heard some frantic yelling from the Daycare Room. I brought the boys out and got them in their highchairs and then asked Svea; "What happened out there?" (Asking a 3 year old that question is very sketchy at best!! Ha.) Svea said, "Well Miles hit Cal so I wanted to get away from Cal so he wouldn't hit me too." Then she added, "Cal was being mean. No, I mean Miles." Haha. That certainly clears it all up.

Picture from yesterday afternoon with Avi in the house!! Ha! They were playing their game where Avi carries him from the top of the block rack and she tosses him onto the mattress! And both of them pretty much love this play. Check out Miles' hair as he is in the middle of being tossed!

Next picture: While Cal and Svea were playing with the "Mr Potato Heads" Miles was taking the opportunity to disassemble everything Svea had built with the blocks. Following picture: So I gotta do a selfie of Miles telling me his stories. :) I'd put him in the pajamas because I was letting his pants "air out" and see how they smell after nap. :)

Next two pictures: Well both boys are now in their pajamas while their clothes "air out" during Lunch and Nap Time. :) So these three kids had a blast playing all morning. About every 2 minutes Svea is starting a sentence with; "Ok Guys..." or "Hey Guys!!" She definitely keeps them lined out and following her agenda. Ha. Last picture: These boys were both laughing their heads off! Rowdiness rules and it's fun having only 3 kids and letting them be goofy. Over and over Cal would sit on Miles and then tip over backwards! And both laughing like it's the funniest thing in the world. And for them it was hilarious!!

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
