Miles - 09/13/2021

Miles ate half of his corn chex cereal and ate three servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat hamburger bun, tomato, and ate mandarin oranges. 

This first picture of Miles is left over from Friday afternoon and I liked how he was laying down to do his chalk drawing; very involved in his work. AND he was right back in the same position when we went outside this morning. He was the one who initiated the chalk too - once I figured out what he was asking me!! Ha. I liked what Svea told Cal; "Draw your Parents Cal! I'm drawing my Parents!" Ha. 

Next picture: We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were busy as always. Second picture; Svea built a "cave" again for all of them to play in. And she was real sweet to make sure she invited Miles too! "Miles, you can come in." :) Third picture: Miles busy with the ice cream cart on the sidewalk. This isn't really about Miles, but Cal spotted plugs of soil all over our lawn - aerate this last weekend - and he asked, "Is this poop!?!" Haha. 

Last picture: Miles was in his highchair as Lunch was ready to serve, but first Svea had to attend to her business!! She has a tape measure from a Preschool Activity and she said, "Hey Gary!! Miles is that tall!!"(Wow, you're a bit short Miles!!) Haha. That cracked me up. But I love how Miles is leaning in to try helping Svea - even though he didn't have a clue what she was doing.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
