Miles - 09/14/2021

Miles ate cinnamon/raisin English muffin and three servings of grapes for breakfast. He seriously looked like a squirrel or chipmunk with his cheeks jammed full of grapes and then pushed the last two bites of muffin in there as well. So he could yell for more grapes. Haha. Pace yourself Buddy. :) For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, beets, and applesauce. Svea was getting frustrated with Cal and Miles (primarily Cal) at the Lunch table because they were making goofy sounds and NOT listening enough to what Svea had to say. She said, "Gary!! I keep asking Cal and Miles a question, but they keep bothering my question." It was hard not to laugh at that!!

First picture: The boys playing with the same toys and trying to fill their van more full than the other guy! Ha. Second picture: Alexa playing "Baby Shark" for us; over and over!! Third picture: The boys were kind of wrestling and dorking around (acting like boys) and Miles would say, "more more more" when he liked it. Then if he didn't like it he'd whine. Then back to "more more more." :)

Last picture: On the patio this morning Svea sectioned off a piece by making barricades to keep people out. She said, "Hey Guys, this is our play room!" Haha. Novel idea. They've got the entire back yard to play and she sections off 6 X 8 spot! Ha. More sidewalk chalk in their "playroom." They were all pretty chalky before this session ended. :) If you look close you'll see Miles is holding one of his shoes in his right hand. :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
