Miles - 09/15/2021

Miles ate two servings of French toast and two servings of strawberries - mixed together - for breakfast. For lunch he ate hamburger stew with meat, green beans, tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes. He ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail. 

I took this picture yesterday afternoon when the neighbor's dog was laying by the fence. I'm fairly certain that was Miles' hand coming through the fence although both boys were reaching through to pet the dog. 

This next picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and the boys had held hands a couple of times in the house. I wasn't able to get a picture, but then they did it again outside coming up the sidewalk. Cal said, "Miles, you're my friend." That was very sweet. However don't make the mistake of thinking this will result in less conflict!! I've never seen that happen yet and I've witnessed lots of hugs and handholding over the years. Hahaha. I think I'm a realist, not cynical. I do believe it's sincere in the moment. :)

Next picture: I can't remember what we were laughing about, but Miles was really laughing hard. Little Cutie. Following two pictures: As you know he approaches his play, art, reading, and pretty much everything with focus and curiosity. He probably played at the little doll house with people inside for at least 15 - 20 minutes before moving on. While doing Art he's very proud of the fact that he can get the caps off the big markers and back on by himself.

Last picture; I thought this was so cute. I was coming up the hallway and the boys were watching for me! They do the same thing watching for Lauralea coming out of her office.
