Miles - 09/27/2021

Miles ate most of kix cereal and two servings of fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey, ate whole wheat hamburger bun, tomatoes, and two servings of cherries. Svea sharing random information at breakfast: "I like unicorns, eagles, and bluebirds." Haha. "Interesting! Anyone else feel like sharing things they like!?" 

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and just like I've said every two weeks for years now, "the kids stayed busy all morning." Haha. (That doesn't' seem to change so I'd say the technique has worked and been very successful!!) First picture: Miles had two phones up to his ears and was saying, "Momma, Daddy, Momma, Daddy." Hey, he's brilliant!! Two phones, two people!! :) Following picture: Doctor toys in this set and Cal said, "Can I check him?!?" Ha. "Well you should ask Miles, not me!" Cal moved it across Miles' forehead just like a pro. 

Next picture; This picture made me laugh! We've got an airplane, a baby, and a dog. And Miles with the Police car! So I'm thinking it definitely looks like a crime scene to me too Miles! :) Especially with the airplane resting on the baby's head. 

Next picture: The kids had spotted these decorations across the street - and two houses north - and I told them we'd go look at them after breakfast. Cal said, "Ok, fine with me." Haha. If you look closely they have a pretty large assortment of Halloween decorations. When we were getting ready to move on Cal said, "Gary, can we go look at more Christmas decorations?!?" That made me laugh. 

Last picture: So there's a dog laying in the window, but the kids couldn't really see it while sitting down. I don't usually let them stand up in the wagon - I don't even like looking at this picture - but they "really really really wanted to see the dog." :) I said, "It's laying on something." Svea said, "Maybe it's a couch." "And that's a very good guess Svea." We walked around the long block and stopped at the school so the kids could run. They spotted the moon as we were walking and Svea said, "It's following us." :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
