Miles - 09/28/2021

MIles ate bites of waffle and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate apple bites.  

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Svea and Miles were having fun with their little game. Svea (in the wagon in case you missed that) would take Miles all the way to the gate and tell him to run pushing the ice cream cart and she'd sprint to lay down in the wagon. He'd come up the sidewalk as fast as he could go and crash into the wagon. Over and over with both of them laughing and squealing. Silly kids. 

Next picture: Svea was working on coloring a coffee filter and then we sprayed water on it to watch the colors run. The boys wanted to join her so they were doing Art 30 minutes before breakfast. Their pieces all came out very pretty. Avilene started it yesterday afternoon and her masterpiece is on the table although I didn't intentionally put it into the picture!! Ha. Just an FYI: I know it's way too early to draw any conclusions, but when Miles is doing Art he always grabs the marker with his left hand. AND he always throws rocks left handed!  Haha. So there you you have it!!

A couple more pictures from this morning. Cal and Miles were pushing the chair together around and around. Cal is just enough bigger that Miles has to go pretty fast to keep up, but at least they were going in the same direction! Earlier they were going in opposite directions!! Silly boys!! Last picture: Miles had on two stethoscopes at the same time. He could get them on, but not off. Give Auntie a call; she can help you Miles!! :) He ended up pulling them straight out to the side and couldn't figure out what to do!! Look at his face; "quit taking pictures and help me Gary!!" :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
