Miles - 10/08/2021

Miles ate most of his oatmeal and ate all of his dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and ate applesauce. Atley came while Miles was still eating lunch and he was sure trying to get her attention!! I told Atley, "I think Miles and Svea are glad to see you Atley." (Cal was already taking a nap.) Atley said, "Is that why Svea's talking so much!?" Haha. Yup.

So I have three pictures left over from yesterday afternoon. Nora was passing out "sanitizer" to Svea and Miles and you can see Svea rubbing her arms; which made me think it was lotion or cream. Nora said, "Gary!! It's sanitizer!!" Haha. (It didn't take me long to get into trouble!! Ha.) Second picture: A neighbor boy came by with a "crawdad" and I invited him inside the gate to show the kids. He found it in the irrigation ditch nearby and he said he worked hard for it. I believe him after looking at all the mud on his shoes!! Haha.

Next picture: Miles asked for sidewalk chalk again. It's one of his favorite activities outside!! AND he pointed at the circle he was drawing and said, "Ball ball ball." Representational drawing again!! Good work Miles. Following picture: Svea was playing with the magnetic tray before the boys were done with breakfast and she wanted to show them what she did with the balls. Very nice work Svea. Miles peeking through the dress-up clothes at me. Little Cutie.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
