Miles - 10/26/2021

Miles ate half of his waffle and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple slices.

I've told you about this silly game we play: I was washing my hands at the sink in the entrance room and when Miles poked his head around the corner I splashed water in his direction; "It's raining!! It's raining!! It's raining!!" He was laughing and giggling and for the first time I heard him saying, "Mo rain, mo rain, mo rain!!" Haha.

First picture; The boys were on the couch just being goofy and covering their eyes for Lauralea. Over and over of course. Following picture: Miles doing some art! I'm glad I took this picture when I did because when you see the finished product tonight it will be difficult to imagine the picture at this stage. :) Lauralea asked me; "Is he really drawing people?" He's definitely in the beginning stages of "representational" drawing. And he was pointing to his pictures and saying, "Mom Mom Mom." So I answered; "I think so!" Ha.

Last picture: Mr Snuggle Bug. I totally love this!! Look how close and tight he's snuggled up beside me. I know he did this two times this morning and maybe three times. It's so precious. He can be in the middle of some play and he'll notice I've sat down and he comes right over.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
