Miles - 11/10/2021

Miles ate half of his whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his pork chop serving, half of his whole wheat toast, ate beets, and applesauce.

First picture: Miles arrived and immediately went for the school buses! This is his "toy exchange" day so everything was new and different! I should mention that Svea and Miles are the only kids here this morning and Svea was trying HARD to distract him - to no avail. She was saying, "Miles! Let's go to the carousel!! Miles! Let's go to the carousel!!" Second picture: The only thing better than one school bus is four school buses!! :)

Second picture: Svea finally succeeded in coaxing Miles away from the school buses - for a very short period of time I must add!! And did it by building the "boat" you see in the picture. "Miles! Do you want to ride my boat!? Miles! Do you want to ride my boat!?" ...Pause... "Miles ! Get on the boat!!" :)

Last picture; Svea and Miles were working on their Art papers at the table. Svea had drawn several dots and then was doing a "connect-the-dots." She said it was her "butterfly." Miles was watching her work very intently and started pounding with his marker to make some dots. Ha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
