Miles - 11/11/2021

Miles ate a couple bites of waffle and ate mango/strawberry for breakfast. For lunch he ate turkey burger, no whole wheat tortilla, half of his sweet potato, and ate cherries. And he ate several bites of Avi's lunch she'd brought with her and she was getting a kick out of feeding him.

I took this first picture yesterday afternoon as soon as Miles awoke from his nap. He was really curious about why Svea was napping. (She's not been feeling well and put herself down for a snooze.) I like how his hand is out and I think I heard him introducing everyone to "Sleeping Beauty." :)

Next picture: Miles is still not feeling very well, but he played steady all morning and actually preferred to just do his own thing most of the morning. For awhile I wasn't sure he was gonna do anything except play with the school buses! He played with them a lot!!

Next picture: Then I saw he was looking at a book so I quickly grabbed the camera for something different! Ha. (You can still see one school bus in the mirror!!) Following picture; And then Svea read a couple of books to the boys. Cal was more interested in his own book. Last picture; Miles worked on some Art and yelled at Cal - across the table - whenever Cal said something wrong or looked at Miles the wrong way!! Ha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
