Miles - 11/12/2021

Miles ate cream of wheat cereal and most of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate most of chicken, most of brown rice, most of broccoli, and ate pineapple.

Communicating with a Toddler is always a challenge and a gamble mixed with a big dose of hilarity. Ha. Miles said, "Poopy, poopy." I said, "Who's poopy?" Miles said, "Me poopy."  I said, "Oh, are you poopy?" Miles said, "No." Haha. It can mean "I'm poopy now." "I'm getting ready to poop." "I'm gonna poop sometime today." Or any combination of those. (FYI: He pooped about 2 hours later.)

So Avi and Nora are here today and I gotta include a couple pictures of them too. :) First picture: Nora walked in and immediately set up camp directly in front of the mirror. Haha. Some things never change!! She spent the majority of her early time at Little Treasures in front of the little mirror directly behind her in the picture. 

Next picture: Geez, I wonder what toys Miles will go for first!?! He loves these school buses!! And he likes loading them up with goodies; little people and food toys. I like the close-up inspection in the following picture. 

Next picture: Svea had buried herself under some pillows in the cozy corner. Miles decided to uncover her and I assumed she yelled simply because she didn't want him too!! Upon closer examination of this picture it looks like he had some hair along with the pillow!! Last picture: Nora and Avi were working on one of Avi's Science Experiments she has at my place.This one is called "Crystal Chemistry Garden." We got the first half completed and we'll finish the project after Blogs are done.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
