Miles - 11/16/2021

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate shrimp, brown rice smothered in berry juice, ate most of his broccoli, and ate mixed berries. 

Miles joined Svea at the window to wave bye to Momma Molly and he kept saying, "My Mom, my Mom, my Mom." He was doing that just to get a reaction from Svea and boy was it ever working!! Haha! The little Turkey. She was about ready to wring his neck. She never did wave at Mommy because she was too busy reacting to him.

Outside pictures with Svea from yesterday. The kids stepped on two of those large "stink bugs" so if you smelled something yucky on the way home that might have been it. :) Second picture: You have to look close to see Svea's face with the hair hanging down!! Ha. Third picture: Miles was behind Svea in the airplane saying, "Home home home." Svea finally said, "We ARE going home!!" :) 

Next picture: This picture was taken just moments - probably one minute - after Miles arrived. (Cal is sitting directly in front of the block cabinet surrounded by his blocks.) Miles got a school bus and he started yelling, "My beep beep, My beep beep, My beep beep!!" Cal was yelling back at him, "My toys, My toys, My toys!!" They certainly know how to push each other's buttons!! Probably 10 minutes later Cal started pushing a school bus and said, "Hey look Miles!!" However, this time Miles did not bite because he was listening to the "Goldfish Song" and doing the actions on the mattress.

Next picture: Cal and Svea were in the Preschool Room so Miles went into the room Svea and Cal had made. ("When the cat's away the mouse will play!") Last picture: I think Cal was discussing some kind of rental/lease arrangement for the room. :) You know how those accountants are!! :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
