Miles - 11/18/2021

Miles ate French toast and two servings of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pulled pork, no whole wheat toast, ate peas/carrots, and ate strawberries.

I've been expecting this to happen and it came out yesterday; thanks to Miles!! Haha. The boys were arguing over Svea!! Miles said, "My Va Va, my Va Va." And of course Cal started repeating it too!! :)

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon. It was starting to get dark so I turned out the lights for the boys and their flashlights. They loved being able to see the light beam so much better. Following picture; Cal was trying to give Miles some pointers on solving the puzzle. Cal was saying, "Turn it around, turn it around." Which is what he hears me (and Svea) saying to him. Miles managed to get 3 pieces by himself which I think is a good start.

Next picture: The boys are patiently waiting for Svea to gather up some food and laying it out for them. ha. Finally Svea said, "Ok Miles!! Stop saying Me Me Me!!" LOL! Following picture: These guys were all building with the legos and working hard. I said I wanted a picture. I usually DON'T say anything and here's the reason why!! They lined up for their picture!! Hahaha. Cracked me up!

Next picture: We haven't done "golf ball art" for a long time so I got out the paints. Miles was just sort of impressed; but maybe not much. Haha. He was more concerned about a dot of paint that got on his fingers!! I like the last picture; I was ready when he tipped it too far and the ball rolled out.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
