Miles - 12/02/2021

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, olives, pineapple, peppers, and tomato sauce. He ate bites of whole wheat pizza crust on the side and ate pineapple on the side. 

Cal and Miles were doing a "new thing" (Old, but new to them. Ha.) running to the window to wave bye at Mommy Emily. One or both of them are usually saying, "My Mom, My Mom, My Mom." (It rarely happens with Daddy Colin because Cal is usually the first one here.) So thanks to Cal this morning running to the window he was saying, "I win, I win, I win." And of course Miles was echoing that; "I win, I win, I win." Ha. (It's all age appropriate.)

First picture: Miles at work with the legos. Here's what you don't see or hear: Cal is in the cozy corner surrounded by all the stuffed animals and saying to Miles; "My stuffed animals. My stuffed animals." Haha. Little Turkey. But Miles happened to be engrossed with the legos and didn't take the bait. That's a rarity!! Haha. Second picture: Miles discovered another use for the legos flowers. Cal was laughing at him which was great encouragement. Haha.

Next pictures: The kids were doing some Art at the table so I brought the bowl to the table so they could watch while I mixed the meats and spices together. Then while they were eating lunch we talked about watching me mix it before it went into the oven. Following picture: Show & Tell is over and Miles is back to work on his Art. :)

Last picture: So we went on a "Field Trip" today looking for Christmas books for the kids!! The kids were delighted to be able to "travel" upstairs above the garage!! This is just one corner of many corners and there is a lot to look at. Ha. Just an FYI, we had a very large garage sale in 2013 when we downsized from a Group Home to my Family Home Program. :) Side note Miracle; We found the books I was looking for!

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
