Miles - 12/08/2021

The boys like to mix their strawberries and French toast together and this morning Svea joined them! Miles ate two large servings of French toast and strawberries. For lunch he ate all of his serving of Whole 30 Chili with meat, peppers, tomatoes, tomato sauce, sweet potatoes, and spices. He ate bites of his whole wheat dinner roll and ate mango/pineapple. 

First picture: I told Lauralea that Miles' pants were wet in the butt when he arrived. So Miles was showing Lauralea how it happened! Haha. I sit down just like this!! Speaking of Lauralea, before Momma Emily and Nora arrived yesterday she was sitting in the Daycare Room in the chair playing with Miles. So this morning he tried to talk her into getting back in that chair and picking up where they left off. Ha. 

Next picture; Miles asked Svea to hook his tractor up to his trailer. I got this picture at the very end of her helping him and he's ready to take off. I always encourage them to ask their peers for help and Svea loves to be a helper. Following picture: Svea helping Miles again!! :) She was hanging her horses upside-down on the faucet and he wanted her to do the same with one of his horses. So she did. Love that proud smile Svea. You may have to zoom in on the picture to see the upside-down horse.

Next picture; Running back and forth across the room with Cal. Boys doing what boys do best. Running, being goofy and having a great time. Last picture: So Cal and Svea were washing themselves in the sinks. (I teach life-skills here!!) And of course it's easy to guess what Miles is yelling; "Me sink! Me sink! Me sink!" Then two minutes later Svea and Cal were done at the sink and moved on to something else. Miles moved on as well immediately forgetting how badly he wanted a sink!!  :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
