Miles - 12/10/2021
Miles ate cream of wheat cereal and dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of chicken, ate brown rice, half of broccoli, and ate a large serving of pineapple. I was helping Miles finish up his cereal and he kept saying the same thing again and again and again......and I had no clue what he was saying. I said, "Sorry, but I don't understand. And you don't need to just keep saying the same thing over and over. He said, "Oh." Then he said, "Over and over. Over and over. Over and over." LOL. Well at least it was something different and I knew what he was saying this time!! :)
Thought you might enjoy a quote from Avi and Nora during snack yesterday. They were talking about how much older they are than Svea. "When Svea is in Kindergarten we will be in 2nd grade." They went through several grades and then ended with this doozy!! Avi said, "When me and Nora are grown-up Svea will be a teenager." Ha. Maybe by the time you're "grown-up" you'll also learn how to say "Nora and I."
I took this first picture when we were waiting for Momma Emily to come around the corner. And this is why I watch for you; they'd never last long enough at the window to see you coming. They were giving each other "5" then it turned into fist bumping and that was starting to escalate of course! I saw a bare knuckle fistfight coming! Haha. Thank goodness Momma showed up at the right time. Second picture; I had the boys busy coloring while I was fixing the cereal for breakfast.
Next picture: Svea was reading her book - "Gingerbread Baby" - to the boys first thing this morning. In the following picture she was pushing the boys in the swivel/rocker. The picture makes it look so peaceful and easy! Haha. Initially Cal had been laying across the seat so Miles couldn't have a spot and Svea asked me for help instead of screaming at him. I was SO happy with her because we've really been working hard on that. Last picture: Miles was absorbed in the barnyard chores. Ha. Sorting his cattle in the stalls.
