Miles ate bran cereal and raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of chicken covered with two servings of avocado, bites of whole wheat pita bread, ate cucumber, and ate pears.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and playing with the food toys was the first thing on Miles' agenda. In the first picture he said, "Honey, honey." And that was a great guess! I told him it was "syrup" and he called it "syrup" from then on. I think that is one of his strengths; he hears it one time, maybe two and he's got it!! I can think of some exceptions, but generally that's the case!

Next picture: He brought be this little stuffed birdie. I told him to see if he could find the birdie's Mommy somewhere on the mattress with all the stuffed critters. (I didn't tell him the Mommy looked exactly the same, but much bigger.) I just wanted to see what he'd do. He went and held up one; "No sorry Buddy, that fish is not the birdie's Mommy." Haha. (You thought this was gonna be another "genius" story didn't you Momma Emily. Ha.)

Next picture: It was snowing heavily and the boys were at the window watching the flakes come down. Miles looked up and saw the reflection of a room light and said, "Sun." It does look like it! Last picture; All the new stuff with the Toy Exchange did not deter Miles from asking to do some "coloring." The boy has his priorities.
