Miles - 01/13/2022

Miles ate his waffle and three servings of strawberry/mango for breakfast. For lunch he ate most of his ground turkey, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate green beans, and ate his cherries.

Miles was angry with Svea - I'm pretty sure she swatted him - and he was yelling at her. I wanted to give him some words to say. "Tell Svea; I don't like that!" Miles said, "Like that." :) Umm, not quite, let's try again. "Say, I don't like that Svea." Miles said, "I don't like Svea." Haha. Ok, whatever, thanks for trying!

Miles was under the blue balance beam; which has recently been his favorite go-to spot to poop! "Hey Miles, are you pooping?" "NO! NO!" Haha. "Riggghhhtttt!" So 37 seconds later he's kind of howling/screaming for me. What the heck!? I've never heard him do that while pooping and I thought it must be a huge one!! Then I looked again and realized he'd scooted up and was totally stuck under the yellow braces holding up the balance beam. So I lifted it up and he got out. "Ok Miles, it smells like I need to change your diaper. :)

Here are some pictures from this morning's activities. This was Miles' "cake" and he was trying to "cut it." He wasn't having much success because the "cutter" is slightly too thick to get started cutting. Cal told him what he saw as the problem; "You're too little." :) That was a bit harsh!! Following two pictures: Svea brought a floor puzzle from home - 41 pieces - and it really is a challenging puzzle. The boys wanted to be there, but Cal almost immediately said, "I don't wanna play" and he left. Ha. Look how interested Miles seems to be in the puzzle. Haha. However, Miles did watch for a long time. I put in a picture of the finished puzzle and it was pretty challenging for Svea and I to complete!!

Next picture: I gave Miles a chance at the Doll House play, but Svea and Cal do this "Delivery Game" and he didn't grasp what the heck they were doing!! Don't worry Miles, I don't really understand it either!! Haha. It's definitely a "modern" game where everything is delivered to your door!! Svea kept saying to Miles; "I am NOT ready for delivery yet!!" :) Last picture: So we moved on to the table where Miles is the master of the Art Supplies! You rock this activity Miles!!

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
