Miles - 01/18/2022

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three large servings of grapes (and he wanted more) for breakfast. They were large grapes and I cut them in half for him. Initially he didn't want me to cut them. I told him, "these grapes are huge" and "I'm cutting them so you don't choke." So then he kept saying, "more huge, more huge, more huge!!" Haha. Cracks me up. For lunch he ate shrimp, brown rice covered with berry juice, ate broccoli, and three servings of mixed berries. 

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Avi and Miles were working at the legos table for a LONG time while Svea and Nora were at the Doll House. Avi is so kind to Miles and loves him a lot. See the steps she'd built on her house in the lower left of the picture? Two or three times Miles was threatening to tear those apart. How did Avi handle it? She built the thing he is holding and told him; "tear it apart." Well done Avilene. 

This next picture was taken just a few short minutes after arrival! He was asking - loudly and persistently - "Me puzzle!? Me puzzle!? Me puzzle!?" Oh, I get the feeling you want to do a puzzle!? Haha. (I'm very intuitive when you yell it loud and clear!! Haha.) Miles LOVES the puzzles that have the vehicles and sound effects. "School Bus!!" "Firetruck!!" He's done these enough that he smokes through them quickly!! I was ready with the camera when he finished; "Me did it!! Me did it!! Me did it!!" Haha. So stinking cute.

Well as you all know by now Cal is not here today and will be out for the week. It was pretty quiet around here this morning, but Svea was doing her usual setting up the food. She and Miles get along just fine, but he doesn't play "with" Svea the way that Cal does. He's a bit more of a threat to just "steal" her food!! Haha. In this last picture (while Svea was jumping on the mattress) Miles is sitting on the counter raiding the food supply and Svea is kind of possessive about her food supply!! I know, hard to believe!?!

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
