Miles - 01/21/2022

Miles ate oatmeal and three servings of applesauce for breakfast. For lunch he ate Whole 30 Chili with meat, peppers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, spices, and tomato sauce. He ate whole wheat dinner roll, and fruit cocktail. Miles was randomly saying, "Mickey Mouse." "Pop the Weasel." LOL. Sitting in his highchair at Lunch. :) He got to pet "Vera" the Nelson family kitty this morning. Miles said, "Mickey Mouse." Molly looked at me for interpretation. Sorry, no idea. Haha. 

As you already know Miles is obsessed with "Firetrucks" and "School Buses." Thankfully three of the puzzles I have in this toy exchange have both of those. Here, try this puzzle. Nope. If it doesn't have one or both of those items, forget it!! Haha. Well you lucked out Miles. Peter is on his way to Disney World so no toy and puzzle exchange this weekend. Haha!! One more week of puzzle bliss. Lauralea covered for me when I had an eye appointment this week and she tried to get Miles to do another puzzle. He started to panic; "Firetruck! Firetruck!" :)

Svea was an anxious little girl this morning waiting for Momma to pick her up on the way to the airport heading for Disney World. Several times she was nervously wringing her hands. "When is my Momma gonna pick me up for the airport?!?" Next picture: Someone mentioned "airplane ride" and of course Miles is chanting, "Me Come!! Me Come!! Me Come! Me Come!" Svea said, "No, you're not gonna come." Which of course made him more insistent!! Miles; "Me Come! Me Come! Me Come!" :) The more she said, "no" the louder he got.

Next picture: Miles isn't easily distracted when it comes to eating!! Haha. Svea had one of the tape measures and was measuring his tray. Maybe she was thinking about a larger bowl for him!?! Haha. He just kept on eating his oatmeal and applesauce. Last picture: Snuggling!! Gary saying silly things to make him smile. That's a great smile Miles. :) You're a handsome boy.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
