Miles - 02/03/2022

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three very large servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with meats, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce. No whole wheat pizza crust (served on the side) and ate three large servings of pineapple on the side too.

First picture: All three Kids did lots and lots of jumping this morning!! If you keep seeing the same sort of pictures every day you can assume that's a favorite activity!! They never get tired of jumping on the mattress; at least not tired of it very long!! I'd say the mattress is the all-time favorite accessory in the Daycare after 25 years. I believe this is the 3rd or 4th mattress we've used. :) Picture number two: If you keep seeing the same picture ...... oh, I just said that!! :) He was putting the puzzle away saying, "I did it! I did it!" In the Preschool Room he's doing good remembering to put activities away before moving on to the next thing. Sure I have to remind him some times, but he immediately returns and puts stuff away. 

We did some Sign Language today and it's been awhile since we've practiced some of our signs. Miles was very interested - of course - so later, after we were done I wanted to see what he knew without the other two kids close by. "Love You" Yup, that's a favorite. He did "fish, cookie, more, and sick." In the picture below he's trying to show me "cookie." :) Last picture: He was studying and studying this car and I love how he does that. He gets very absorbed in what he's doing. That's awesome. (Yes, once again he's in his pajamas because he'd just pooped and it was close to Lunch Time.)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
