Miles - 02/02/2022

Miles ate his whole wheat toast and three large servings of grapes for breakfast. I got these grapes from Costco and they are called "Candy Snaps." Very small red grapes, nice and sweet, and the kids really liked them. For lunch he ate his pork roast, no whole wheat tortilla, ate most of carrots, most of potatoes, and ate fruit cocktail.

First two pictures left over from yesterday afternoon! Just in case anyone ever wondered why Miles and Cal consider Avi one of their best friends and favorite people. Here you go with some pictures! You already knew this!?!? Haha. Well now you have positive proof. And she doesn't just do this for a couple minutes; oh no, she'll keep them busy until they're ready to collapse!! :) Thank you Avilene for loving these boys and being a great friend to them. You are awesome.

Next picture: Miles chose this Fish Puzzle as his first one and he's been doing well with it. It's a bit challenging because he has to go by shape of the fish - no background picture. Following picture: So here's a one question quiz: "Is Miles pooping or playing with the Doll House?" And the Answer: If you said, "Pooping" you are a winner. Pick up your prize at the nearest participating Child Care Program.

Last picture: "Can I snuggle?" Of course, but first I gotta comb your hair!! :) The first thing he does every time we snuggle - asks to see "Gideon, Gideon, Gideon, Gideon..." He especially likes the one in "Live Mode" when Gideon is pretending to lick me and laughing his head off. (I kind of like that one too Miles!!) Here's a funny note about Cal, but I think y'all will like it. Cal had been playing pretty much exclusively with Svea for a long time. He said, "I'm gonna jump with Miles on the mattress." THEN he rephrased it; "Svea, can I go jump with Miles?" LOL. That totally hit my funny bone. You got him trained early Svea! She said, "Yes, but when you're done come back and play with me." :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
