Miles - 02/07/2022

Miles ate chex cereal and three large servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of ground beef topped with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, ate tomatoes, and two servings of mandarin oranges.

For any reading this Blog who may not know we are allowing a young pregnant mother and her three year old (Nicole) to stay with us for about 6 weeks. She and her husband live in a motor home while he follows his work around the State laying fiber optic cable. The Mother is a sister to one of our previous child care kids. Cal, Svea, and Miles have been enjoying playing with Nicole and it's gonna work fine if Friday and today are any indication!!

First picture: Cal asked if her could join Miles at the Doll House. If you look closely you'll see Miles has one of the Doll House accessories on his wrist. Cal was laughing when he said, "That is NOT a bracelet Miles!!"  :) Second picture: Miles doing a "balancing activity" in the Preschool Room. He listened when I told him which direction to lay the pieces and he was cheering himself on after every piece he laid down!! Haha! "Me did it!!" Next piece: "Me did it!!" Next piece: "Me did it!!" Haha. He laid down the 7 pieces that you see and then he was done. :)

Next picture: Svea had moved her food to another location and was keeping an eye on the boys. They were in "rascal mode" and tossing food off the blue balance beam. Svea said, "You guys can do that, but you can not touch my purse." :) Following picture: Fun fun and more fun on the mattress. Last picture: Several times Miles asked to go do Puzzles in the Preschool Room.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
