Miles - 02/08/2022
Miles ate toasted cinnamon/raisin English muffin and three large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, most of his beets, and ate his applesauce.
I'm combining two quotes here from our Story Time this morning. Miles wanted to read; "Frosty, Frosty, Frosty." Ok we'll read Frosty. We were reading along and I was letting Miles finish the lines for me. Some of those endings are really humorous to me. "With two eyes made out of cold." Haha. (Coal.) Then another book had a picture of a "crescent moon" and we've labeled it "crescent moon" many times. What's that kind of moon called? Miles said, "Yellow." (And he was right about the color.) Cal said, "Cussed." Haha. Well it starts with a "C." So Cal was calling it a "crest" moon. "We saw a crest moon going to Sophie's game."
First picture: Cal and Svea were building "cars and boats" (their words) with the blocks. Miles is observing and passing through. Ha. Nicole built a tower and Miles knocked it over so I reminded him about the primary rule with the blocks; "Whoever builds it, gets to knock it over." So in the second picture he's kind of doing a "drive-by" and maybe plotting his next move. Haha. No, I just reminded him once and that was good for one day.
Next two pictures: Everyday Miles asks if he can do puzzles or Doll House. And Art in the last picture. He doesn't spend nearly as much time with his Art papers as he once did. One reason could simply be the fact that as he is developing I'm letting him do more and more different Preschool activities. Before, Art was basically the only age appropriate activity for him in the Preschool Room.
