Miles - 02/22/2022

Happy Tuesday! Or as we 'Numbers People' call it: "2's Day!!" 02/22/2022. Ok, I know! I know that's lame, but I still like it!! :) 
Miles ate his waffle serving and three large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, half of his whole wheat tortilla, three servings of corn, and ate his apples slices.

First picture: Miles working on some puzzles. He chose to do puzzles several times this morning AND I chose for him to do puzzles several times this morning!! Haha!! Monday (I know this is Tuesday) mornings are always a bit challenging - a 3 day weekend is even more challenging. He just wanted to disrupt what the other kids were doing and he seemingly couldn't help himself. Ha! (It wasn't just Miles - Cal had been infected by the same disruptive virus.) Second picture: This was very shortly after arrival and Cal said, "That was fun Miles." And that was the end of it; a one time run. 

Next picture: Miles had some of his favorite cars lined up and he was counting them; "One, Two, Three, Four, Five." Ok, close enough!! :) Following picture; Svea was reading to Cal and Miles was reading his own book and occasionally taking a peek at their book too. :)

Last picture; Posted with Permission!! :) We have a Baby Girl in the house. All the kids were dying to get their hands on the Baby, but they totally accepted the fact that this was a "hands-off" experience. :) We can just look and admire her. This is a wonderfully easy baby to have around for a few days or weeks. Not exactly sure how long they'll be here, but for a little while longer.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
