Miles - 03/11/2022

Miles ate cream of wheat cereal and bites of his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, brown rice, broccoli, and three large servings of pineapple. Lunch time Cal made a random proclamation!! He said, "Because I am the funny sucker!!" Haha. Yup, he's heard me call him that a few times.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon right after Miles awoke from his nap. (Too cute to just delete!!) Svea was reading/singing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" book to Miles. I was amused by her head-wrap and she said, "I'm pretending like I have a headache." Second picture: The boys were getting ready to do some jumping and also checking out some of the stuff Svea brought from home. (While Svea keeps a close eye on those sketchy boys! Ha.) Miles was most impressed with the stuffed snake. "Snake, Snake, Snake, Snake." 

More fun pictures from this morning. Svea pretending to sleep. Which is fun except she demands quietness from Miles and Cal. (She's rarely successful with that!!) She said, "Hey Guys!! Be quiet because I'm trying to fall asleep!!" :) And then a picture from the Art Table.

Next picture: "The Three Musketeers." Doing Three Musketeer things! Svea attempting to do some synchronized jumping with the boys. Ha. (Miles was cooperating.) Last picture: Having fun in the swivel/rocker. Well more accurately - occasionally having fun in the chair!! Cal was getting tired of pushing the chair around and around, but Svea was strongly encouraging him to continue. Check out Svea's left foot trying to coax him along!! Ha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
