Miles - 04/04/2022

Miles ate Cheerios and banana for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef topped with avocado, whole wheat pita bread, olives, and strawberries. 
I already shared some of this information with Parents, but we had the best time on the Upper Oregon coast last week and thank you all for allowing us to do that. We learned lots about digging Clams, and I walked many trails learning about where Lewis & Clark spent the winter before their return trip. I learned some Maritime history about the area as well as some Military history. (Favorite subjects of mine!)

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and Miles was thrilled to have the School Buses out again!! And that's not an overstatement!! The boy likes his School Buses!! He'd play with other  stuff and do whatever, but always back to the buses this morning!! 

Next two pictures: Cal was giving Miles a Yellow toy (I think it's a TeleTubby. Only 20 plus years out dated!!) It was cute because Miles was talking about his yellow School Bus, yellow plate, and yellow cup. So Cal found the yellow toy to add to his collection.

Next picture: What's Miles looking at!?! (This is where you're supposed to make a guess!!) Answer: Micala stopped by for a few minutes and her baby Paisley had a very poopy diaper and the baby wasn't too happy about the situation. Miles was so concerned and I think it's adorable. 

Last picture: So this is 2 Hours after I took Picture # 1.  Have I mentioned that the Boy loves his School Buses!?! :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
