Miles - 04/11/2022

Miles ate chex cereal and two large servings of peaches for breakfast. As usual, before Breakfast Miles said, "Having Grapes!? Having Grapes!? Having!?" Ha. (Tomorrow for breakfast Miles; tomorrow for breakfast! On the Menu for Tomorrow!) :) For lunch he ate ground beef topped with avocado, two servings of toasted whole wheat sandwich thins, ate tomatoes, and mandarin oranges.

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon outside. The kids were having fun hunting flies and taking turns with the "bug slapper." (Their words.) It appears the boys were providing back-up for Svea if she needs any assistance. :) Also from Friday afternoon the kids were asking to go to the "Playground" again! Miles got in the wagon and said it too! "Go to Playground!?!" :)

Next picture: Well the weather is cold this week, but the birds are returning so they must think it's Spring!! I have to snap these pictures quickly because the kids always make noise at the window and scares the birds away. The boys (Svea was not here this morning as she had her Four-Year old checkup.) had fun spotting all the birds.

Next picture: Miles asked to do this Activity and I told him I'd like for him to actually sort the colors and he did. Lately he's been having fun dumping from cup to cup. Good work Miles and thanks for listening to Gary. Last picture: The boys are waiting for Gary to pick some "Special Books" and cheering for "Story Time." We read lots of books and the last one was about an "Ice Cream Truck." Immediately after Story Time a motorhome went by the window and they sprinted to the window to see it. Miles yelled; "Ice Cream Truck! Ice Cream Truck!" Haha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
