Miles - 04/14/2022

Miles ate some of his waffle and ate mango/strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey, bite of whole wheat tortilla, ate sweet potatoes, and two large servings of cherries.

First picture: The boys were at the window waiting for Momma Emily to drive up. These crows were busy eating and didn't notice or care when the boys pounded on the window waving bye. Second picture: Miles watched me balance several items on the boat and then I passed it over for him to give it a go. He did well for a few minutes, but eventually lost interest when they kept falling off. At the beginning he put one item on and said, "I did it!" Haha. Yes you did, now try doing another one.

I think Miles has done pretty well this week considering Daddy has been out of town. Maybe a little more quick to "tattle" on the other two kids - like all the time. Ha. I asked Miles this morning; Do you and Nora tattle on each other constantly? :)  Next picture: I frequently had him out doing puzzles or other activities when he struggled in the Daycare Room. 

Last picture: The kids have been asking to do some Dot Painting and we finally remembered at the right time. Svea was telling elaborate stories about her Unicorn that she's dot painting; it's name and all it's special qualities. Ha. The boys be like; "Could we just dot paint?" :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
