Miles - 04/19/2022

Miles ate half of blueberry bagel and three LARGE servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of shrimp, a large serving of brown rice covered with mixed berry juice, ate most of his broccoli, and two large servings of mixed berries. 

Before breakfast Miles asked me; "Gary, are we having grapes?" (It's a daily question!!) "Yes we are!" Miles said, "Yay!! You made grapes!" LOL! Yup, I whipped up a batch of grapes! Then Cal asked, "Gary, are we having crumbs?" Me: "What!?! Crumbs?!?" Cal: "Yes, are we having crumbs?" Me: "What kind of crumbs?" Cal; "Uhhh...yummy crumbs!" LOL. What a goof.

Svea and Cal had some hilarious Lunch Time conversation and here's a piece that involved Miles. Svea asked, "Is California real!!" I couldn't completely lie so I said, "Well sort of real." Haha. (amusing myself) So then I asked; "Cal, have you ever been to Montana?" He said, "No." Me: "Svea, have you ever been to Montana?" Svea; "No." Cal: "Miles, have you ever been to Montana?" Miles; "Yes." Cal; "Did you love it?" Miles; "Yes." :)

First picture: Cal and Miles were reading books in the cozy corner area. You can see the shapes and different colors on Cal's book. They were arguing about "Purple!" "No it's Pink!" "It's Purple!!" "It's Pink!" Without my intervention they agreed on it being "Purple." Good job Boys!! I was sitting there going though my options; Svea's not here. So I'll have to get Lauralea's professional opinion. Haha. Second picture; Cal was looking for Miles' eyes, but they were no where to be seen. Ha. Last picture: Miles said he wanted to see his "berry face" so Svea held up the mirror for him to see. :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
