Miles - 04/22/2022

Miles ate Cheerios and applesauce for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef, bites of whole wheat dinner roll, ate green beans, and fruit cocktail. During Lunch Svea was dinking around and making Miles laugh. I finally told her that was plenty and they needed to eat. Of course she did it again and Miles roared. THEN he tattled on her. That made me laugh; so then we're all laughing! :)

Here's a picture left over from yesterday afternoon that I found highly amusing and adorable. Adorable because Avi loves Miles and shows him WAY more patience than she shows anyone else around here!! Ha. So she decided he needed to learn to play Tic-Tac-Toe. The amusing part was watching Miles spend way more time putting the circles (rings) on his fingers. Haha. Then he heard a helicopter - he yelled, "helicopter" - and sprinted for the window. Avi's reaction was so cute; She rolled her eyes and said, "Miles!!" But she was still smiling. Second picture: Svea was done with breakfast first and got under Miles' highchair which always makes him giggle. She was grabbing his ankles and legs. :)

Last two pictures: We went to Fresh Market and then stopped by "Three Hills" on the way home. Someone had put lot of rocks on the grates leading to the drain system and the kids were quizzing me about that. They spent most of their time sifting through lots of rocks. Ha. Last picture: Waving bye to the well known landmark: "Three Hills." :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
