Miles - 04/25/2022

Miles ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of ground turkey topped with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, tomatoes, and three servings of cherries.

I asked Miles: "What did you do at home yesterday?" He said, "I play fire truck at my home." That's a very good sentence Miles and I like how specific it is too!
Lauralea was leaving and Miles asked, "Are you going?" She said, "Yes I am leaving." Miles said, "But I hug you." Awww...that was so sweet and we loved it. Thank you Miles.

First picture: The kids saw Micala drive up to the window and they're waiting behind the door for Micala, Nicole, and baby Paisley to come in. It was nice to see them and know they seem to be thriving; not just surviving. (They came to Missoula for a Baby check up.) Second picture: The kids were all excited to see the baby and I took this when they were telling the baby goodbye. Miles said, "She's so cute." Yes and it was cute for you to say so!! :)

Last picture; Miles was playing at the Doll House and Cal asked if her could join Miles. Miles wanted to be alone - and needed to be alone for a few minutes. Miles said, "You next turn." (Or "your turn next." Ha.) Svea had wanted to join too, so I took the picture while they were debating Plan B. Cal presented his plan and Svea was telling him why her plan was SO much better. Haha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
