Miles - 05/05/2022

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three large servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate most of hamburger & sausage pizza, with meat, peppers, pineapple, olives, and tomato sauce. No whole wheat pizza crust (on the side) and he ate three large servings of pineapple.

So I heard Miles and Cal arguing over some toy this morning. Cal said, "Well when you leave, when your Mom picks you up, then I will have it!!" Of course this was 8:40 this morning - a few hours before pickup time! Ha.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon. (You can see Miles just to the right of Cal's head.) Cal wanted Svea and Miles to look at him. "Hey Guys! I got my hearing aids on!!" LOL! Cal has watched intently many times as I've inserted my hearing aids and this hit my funny bone. :)

Next picture: Svea worked hard on these Potato Heads yesterday while the boys were napping. Svea chose not to eat breakfast, but she managed to provide some Breakfast entertainment for the boys. Most of these were still intact from yesterday and she had to explain each one to the boys. And introduce each one to the boys as well. She said her favorite is "Party Girl." Ha.

Next picture; Miles working hard on the Caterpillar puzzle. Last picture: I didn't realize Svea had brought some morning snacks again. They were on her Cubby of course, but she said, "Well! What'd you do with them!?!" Haha. So in the picture Svea and Miles are feeding Miles' Pterodactyl the leftover crumbs. Ha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
