Miles - 05/16/2022

Miles ate bran cereal and ate his raisins for breakfast. He's having lunch with hi Mommy. Before breakfast time Miles saw the watermelon for snack. And he started doing a "happy dance." He said, "That will be WAY yummy!!" :) He ate all his breakfast and asked, "Now can I have watermelon!?!" Haha. It's for snack. Then he asked, "Well can I play for a few more minutes?" Haha. Sure, you can play until Lunch Time! He asks that question almost every day as we're washing up after Lunch and it's nap time. He rarely has time to play then, but he ALWAYS asks. :)

It was SO fun to see the Daycare kids after spending a glorious week in Louisiana with my family. Thanks again to Lauralea for making that happen. She kept me posted on a daily basis how things were going here at the Daycare. So I have a couple of pictures from last week that I'm gonna post first.

First picture: The kids were dropping dandelions in the water and then watching them go floating by in the irrigation ditch. :) Second picture; Miles playing this instrument and he kept saying, "Dance Lauralea, dance!" Haha. 

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids had fun and stayed busy all morning. I took this next picture when Miles was waiting for me to do Story Time. He said, "I got my hat on." Yes you do and it's super cute. Last picture: Svea was working on this puzzle and the boys were watching for part of it. They started trying to help and she told them to stop because "you're gonna make me wreck it!!" Haha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
