Miles - 05/17/2022

Miles ate most of blueberry bagel and three large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of salmon patty, ate a large serving of brown rice covered with berry juice, ate broccoli, and a large serving of mixed berries.

The primary down-side of Miles going home early yesterday!?! We listened to Miles talk about "watermelon" ALL morning - yup, ALL morning! Haha. Seriously! Yes Miles, we're gonna have watermelon again today, just for you! He did the happy dance and cheered. But still had to question the validity of my answer all morning!! :)

Pictures from this morning activities: This is a cute picture in Live Mode. They said they were being "dinosaurs." Second picture: Reading Preschool Books. Cal is sitting in another chair across the room. I like how Miles just made himself at home and went and sat in Lauralea's chair. Haha. Third picture: I just liked how they were sitting close to each other licking on their ice cream cones. :)

This next picture made me laugh. Cal pointed the play camera at Miles and said, "Cheese." Well you can see the "Miles Cheesy Face!" The funny part? In the middle of the cheesy face -without changing expression - Miles asked, "Are we done?" Hahaha. Last picture: Miles likes this activity screwing in the bolts with the drill, screwdriver, and wrench.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
