Miles - 06/07/2022

Miles ate raisin/cinnamon English muffin and three large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, ate whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce. Speaking of food, Miles saw Lauralea eating some Blueberries this morning and he said, "I like those!!" (I think that's why Lauralea took off running!! Haha.) However, Miles says that same thing every day to her when he sees her eating regardless of what it it. :)

So this is a big day at Little Treasures for Miles!! First day for going potty at Daycare!! Good job Miles. We're all very proud of you and I'm glad you survived Potty Training Boot Camp with Mama Emily!! Both of you deserve a medal. Side note: He's been dry all morning.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange over the weekend so Miles was busy all morning.We're also changing up some things, but Miles didn't flinch about any of it. We're moving out all the Infant/Toddler play things, books, etc. ALL the young board books were WELL USED and many were held together with packing tape. All ended up in the recycle bin. In the first picture Cal is keeping an eye on what Miles is doing with the car ramp. There is another car ramp toy - to the left, out of the picture - that Cal was playing with.

Next picture: This was the CUTEST thing ever. I'd asked Miles if he was wearing "underwear." He told me they are called, "Undies!!" Cal heard that and he asked Miles; "What does your undies look like?" So Miles fumbled around for half a minute and finally found his "underwear!" Haha. If you zoom in on Cal's face you'll see the big grin on his face. Cal yelled, "It's got BLIPPI on it!!" That was so cute!!

Next two pictures: I got a good picture of each boy jumping onto the mattress. Then flopping on the mattress and hanging out. I should mention that these two are the only ones here today. Svea's cousin is still in town so she's with her Grandma.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
