Miles - 06/09/2022

Miles ate blueberry waffle and ate fruit salad for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey, no whole wheat tortillas, ate sweet potatoes, and two servings of cherries.

Random question: "Gary, where is your belly button?" I point in the general direction. Miles asks, "Can I see it?" Heavens NO!! I certainly don't want to frighten the child! Haha.
Miles to Cal; "I'm going home with you!" Cal said, "Well then I'm not going home." Now that's funny, but not real nice!! Ha.

First two pictures: Emily alerted us to the horses at the next house over. Apparently this (a horse ride to last day of school) was a gift that a Parent gave to their child that lives in the Wapikiya Neighborhood. When the boys and I got there the horse owners had just loaded the 2 horses, but the nice lady opened the little door in the front of the trailer and let the boys have a close-up look at the horses. 

Next picture; The kids were pretending to go camping. As usual Svea was organizing the campout along with the food and other accessories. Svea said, "We're going Camping!!" Cal said, "If we see any monsters get the flashlight!!" :)  Last picture: Outside sharing the snack crackers that Svea brought. The boys are "feeding the bugs." They were all saying, "Here you go buggy. Here you go buggy."

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
