Miles - 06/14/2022

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate salmon, whole wheat brown rice covered with mixed berry juice, ate green beans, and two servings of mixed berries.

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon with the kids at the "sand table." (Miles insists it's a "sand box" and I always forget! He doesn't forget!! Haha.) See Cal digging in his pocket? Well Atley had said she didn't have any pockets and needed one for her necklace and/or bracelet. So Cal was making sure he had one and then said, "You can use my pocket." (Which was very sweet.) Svea said, "Cal!! Your pocket does NOT come off!!" Haha.

Speaking of yesterday afternoon Miles was looking for some help assembling his Duplos Truck. (And it is a little bit tricky getting the cab of the truck attached.) I said, "Go to Svea and say, 'Can you pleas help me?'" Miles rearranged the wording and said, "Svea, you can help me." Haha. That was close Miles, but you completely changed the meaning. (Although it probably means the same to him!!)

Here are some morning activity pictures. "Can I do an avitivity!?!" I guess "avitivity" includes watching Atley make another necklace!! :) Second picture: Atley hid the eggs for the boys to find. I took this picture after Callahan had "hidden" the eggs. Atley was pretty amused how he'd laid lots of them out together on the floor.

Next picture: The boys again joined Atley when she was doing some Art. Her Art piece is at the bottom right corner of the picture. Last picture: They also spent time outside at the sand table and Atley pulled them around on the parachute. With my hearing loss and Atley's lost teeth it sounded like she asked for "potato soup" instead of "parachute." Haha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
