Miles ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and strawberries.

I've seen this exact same scenario played out more times than I can count!! Trying to teach "social skills" to 1 - 5 year olds is challenging and frequently hilarious. I instructed Svea to say to Miles; "Don't hit me. I don't like that." Before Svea had a chance to speak Miles repeated what I said. Looking at Svea he said, "Don't hit me!!" I'm talking to her, not you Slick!! Haha.

First picture: I think the delivery person had his ear buds in because Miles was beating vigorously on the window with no response from that guy! Haha. Second picture: Atley hid the eggs for Miles and he was thrilled to find a few of them. He's actually pretty good at the game.

Next picture: This is a "coffee table" book put together and self-published by a friend of mine. It's full of beautiful pictures and descriptions of flora and fauna of the Peace River Valley country of Central Alberta. (Her husband is a pilot so there are lots of pictures taken from above.) Svea saw a picture of a bald eagle landing and said, "Looks like a superhero!!" :)

Next picture; Svea had actually moved this book over here for Miles to get out of the cozy corner. She was changing out of her dance clothes and "I want privacy!" Ha. Miles wasn't real thrilled about this, but he didn't complain too much! Last picture: "Can we get out the Sand Box!? Can we get out the Sand Box!?!" Haha. Same question as he comes through the door every morning. Yes we can "get it out." It will take a lot of work, but we'll get it out again!! :)
