Miles - 06/27/2022

Miles ate two servings of cheerios and ate banana serving for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef with a serving of avocado on top, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, and watermelon.

Svea and Miles were playing this morning and Svea randomly said, "Hey Gary, Miles and I are going to change our names." Oh really? What will your new name be? She said, "We have to decide." Ok, so I figured that was the end of the story. Nope, about 20 minutes later they both came to where I was at and Svea said, "We've decided our names. I am Rose. And Miles is Bricks." Haha. Ok, I'll try to remember.
Later Miles - or Bricks - was terrorizing Svea, also known as Rose. I said, "Miles you are being a twerp." He said, "I know that!!" LOL.

First picture; Everyone was done with breakfast except for Miles and he continued to eat. Svea and Avi were working on an Art project and Miles yelled, "Hey!! I'm still eating." Avi said, "That's ok, we're just coloring." :) Second picture: Miles with one of many books he looked at this morning. When I took the picture he was counting "bunnies" he said.

Next picture; The boys were getting ready to jump on the mattress when Cal said, "Ok Miles, first we do a butt bomb and then we do a face bomb." Haha. (I've not heard that one before.) Following picture; Watching flies and other bugs outside the window.

Next picture: Svea built this cozy corner spot and the boys asked for permission to enter. Svea told Cal, "You can come in as long as you don't wreck it." Apparently that was not a reasonable request because he only stayed for 2 seconds. Haha. Last picture: Miles was testing fate by showing Svea the olives he'd put on his fingers. :) It looks like she was ready to take one, but she never touched them.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
