Miles - 07-19-2022

Miles ate bites of waffle and ate a large serving of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, corn, and two servings of apples.

Doing Pretend Games. Svea and Nora were doing these beautiful elaborate dance maneuvers floating silently and gracefully around the floor of the Preschool Room. Meanwhile the boys, Cal and Miles, were in the Daycare Room doing their own games; pretending to Poop on each other's heads. Classy Suckers. LOL! Note to Parents of Boys: Maybe lower your expectations ever so slightly!! (Just kidding, but basically true.) You're welcome. :)

First picture: Yesterday afternoon our neighbor Jeff was using my trailer to clean up his back yard and the kids were enjoying watching him back the trailer into position. Second picture: The boys were having fun with the battery-powered cars on the hardwood floor and the cars work so much better there than the carpet. Except it's very noisy!! Svea came running over to them and said, "Guys! Guys! Quiet down!! We're trying to read our grocery list!!" LOL!!

Next picture: I took this picture of Miles on the floor because we'd just had the following conversation with him laying there. Miles said, "Gary, is is bedtime?" Not yet. "Why not?" Because it's only 10:00. You can have a nap right after we have lunch. :) Last picture: We also played outside and the boys spent time on the bicycles and then the sand table.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
