Miles - 07/21/2022

Miles ate two servings of toasted cinnamon/raisin English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce. This isn't about Miles, but I think you'll like it! At meal time, usually breakfast, Svea will go wash her hands in the bathroom and come out and say, "Gary! I gotta go potty!" This is a frequent occurrence. This morning she said that and Cal said, "Well hurry up!! Your milk's gonna get cold!!" Hahaha. That made me roar. Funny Guy. He knew he'd said a funny one and he was grinning all over.

First picture: The boys have enjoyed playing with the cars on the hardwood floors and they sure work better on the hard wood. In the second picture they were running and running playing chase. When they got tired of that Miles said, "Ok, now we fight!!" Haha. And they headed to the mattress with some pillows. :)

Next picture: The girls had been playing with a big ball and they ran for safety when Miles and Cal appeared. "Hey! Where'd they go!?!" :) Second picture: More fun outside. We were waiting for the electricity to come back on so I could cook their food!! And it did after being off for 45 minutes. Last picture: Sister Nora teaching brother how to play Tic Tac Toe. One of the advantages to having an older sibling.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
