Miles - 07/22/2022

Miles ate brown rice and ate raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate salmon, most of whole wheat dinner roll, ate green beans, and three large servings of mangoes. At lunch Cal said, "How's your salmon Miles?" Isn't that the cutest? Like a couple of old guys.

I heard Cal doing a "knock knock" joke with Miles. 
Cal: "Knock Knock." Miles; "Who's there?" Cal: "Bob." Miles: "Bob Who?" Cal: "Bob, who almost pooped on your head." Then they laugh like it's the funniest thing they've ever heard. Ha. I was impressed how they did the "knock knock" joke correctly.

First picture: I'm not sure what "game" Avi was trying to arrange here, but she was working hard to have them "lined up" correctly!! And she was learning that is frequently not the easiest thing to do. Similar to herding cats! It was making me laugh. But you do have GREAT form Avilene!! Following picture: Nora, Avi, and Svea are under the blanket with trouble lurking nearby! They said they were gonna stay under there until "Lunch Time." Ok, have fun for the next 90 minutes. Haha.

Next picture: Miles is doing some coloring and drawing and Svea is doing some gluing. Middle picture: I took down the bar in front of the mirror, but they're able to put their toes on the board and then go over backwards. Last picture: Cal has some sidewalk chalk in his right hand, but they look like they're coming back from a "Mission of Mischief!" :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
