Miles - 08/01/2022

Miles ate corn chex cereal and peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef topped with avocado, ate half of his toasted whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomatoes, and mandarin oranges. 

So this week the kids here are: Miles, Nora, and Atley. Miles asked me if Cal was coming and never mentioned it again. Which I thought was slightly unusual because he repeats questions a lot in case you've not noticed!! Haha. I told him this morning that he has WAY more questions than I have answers. Also, it's so nice to have Nora here to interpret when I can't figure out what he's saying!! Example: This morning Nora even used a visual as well so I could figure it out. Miles was asking; "Gary, Can I sneak up on Lauralea?" ("sneak" did NOT sound like "sneak" to me!! Haha.) Nora repeated it for me while "sneaking" on her tiptoes. LOL! Thank you Nora and well done!!

Here are some pictures from Miles' morning: Working with the magnetic game and moving the pieces around below the glass. Second picture: Watching Nora and Atley work on their building and he's probably considering how to "pounce!" Ha. Third picture; And doing some coloring and stickers.

We played outside for awhile - much longer than the girls wanted!! (They didn't want to go out at all! Ha.) Miles asked me; "Do you want me to go fast or slow?" Fast, of course! I guess he impressed himself because he said, "That was amazing!" Haha. Last picture: Miles was playing with the cars on this toy with ramps. There is also an "elevator" on it. He was trying to tell Atley and Nora about it and he was calling them "kids." Haha. "Elevator right here kids!! Elevator right here kids!!" They were pretty much ignoring him until he yelled; "I found a roly-poly! I found a roly-poly!"

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
