Miles - 08/04/2022

Miles ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey, most of his whole wheat tortilla bites, ate green beans, and two large servings of cherries.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Atley was packing the Hansen Kids around. Ha! Miles said, "Nora, you're the Driver." :) Second picture: He brought the Piggy Mask to me again to help him put on. Miles said, "I'm a Pig."

Next picture: It was actually nice and mild when we were outside this morning and it felt food. The girls haven't wanted to go outside this week, but this morning they didn't want to go back inside. They were looking for Roly-Poly bugs of course and again Miles found the biggest one for them. He was riding the bike and said, "These bikes are for little kids." Yup they are. In the second picture Miles is under the parachute. This is what the girls have been doing, but Miles wanted it even though he was under there by himself. He said, "Thank you Gary." I love it that he tells me "thank you" all the time. Both Hansen Kids have done that better than anyone!! 

Last two pictures: Miles said, "I'm driving the airplane." Whenever he notices I'm taking a picture he asks, "Can I see Me?" "Please." Probably the highlight of his morning was when a Big Yellow Delivery Truck dropped off a Freezer for us and put it in the garage. Miles was right at the fence/gate watching everything! Meanwhile, the girls were off doing their thing after watching for a few minutes. :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
