Miles - 08/08/2022

Miles ate corn chex cereal and raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken topped with avocado, ate warm and buttered whole wheat pita bread, ate cucumbers, and three servings of pears.

First picture: We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange including all the Preschool Activities this weekend. Miles went for the tractors with buckets first and had most of them all lined up!! In the second picture Cal asked to join Miles at caterpillar puzzle. And they proceeded without bickering!! By Mid-week that scenario will have changed drastically. Yes, I'm a Prophet. 

Next picture: Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to Monday morning at the Towel Fights. We have 2 Veteran towel-fighters going at each other in a relentless 15 round bout. And it ended in a Draw with no minor or major injuries. And no crying! So overall it was fun for all. :) Callahan said something funny this morning that you may like: "Gary, do you know those bug biters that bite kids?" Yes. "I hate em!" :)

Last Picture: I asked the kids if they wanted to go outside for fresh air and the girls all yelled, "NO!" and the boys yelled, "YES!" So I watched the boys from the door window outside riding the bikes. They were riding in circles on the Patio like Puppies chasing their tails.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
