Miles - 7/17/2020

When Miles awoke from his morning nap I fed him sweet potatoes, milk, and cereal.  For lunch he ate salmon (he loved it - lots of bites) and bites of cauliflower.  No dinner roll or mangoes.  After Lunch he was playing by the gate when Lauralea came out and he started making noises to get her attention and then wave at her.  So cute and of course she was thrilled.  :)

Miles has a spoon he carries with him all over the room every day this week.  I always think it's interesting when they find one special thing they like.  Anyhow he started moaning about something and he'd dropped his spoon in the legos drawer and couldn't reach it.  :)  "Hey! Can a feller get some help over here!!

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Miles was sitting on my lap and we were doing some selfies.  Little Cutie! Then in the second picture Callahan is playing with a truck and Miles is amused by Cal's silliness.  That too is very cute.

Next picture: Avi playing with Miles again.  She has taken time out of her busy schedule (smile) to play with him and Cal everyday for several days.  She crawled across the floor with Miles and said, "Gary, I can crawl faster than him!!"  WoW!! Are you sure!?!  "YES!!"  :)  Last picture: "Gary Gary!! Get a picture!!"

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well.
